Check out today’s most relevant news from Serie A with Football Italia’s news round-up, including a Dusan Vlahovic injury update and Daniele De Rossi’s plans for Roma‘s home game against Inter.

Another round of Serie A fixtures is just around the corner, and Juventus hope to have their star striker Vlahovic available against Udinese on Monday.

The Serbia international suffered a muscle injury against Inter this past weekend and will partially return to group training on Friday, hoping to go on the bench against Udinese in the upcoming home game against Udinese on Monday.

The two big games of the weekend are Roma-Inter on Saturday and MilanNapoli on Sunday. Daniele De Rossi will rely on a full Giallorossi squad for the first time this season (except Tammy Abraham) and is assessing his options to stop Nerazzurri star Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkey international, who turns 30 today, was a big talking point in Italy today as the man who signed him at Milan in 2015, Massimiliano Mirabelli, blamed the Rossoneri for not keeping him at the club, saying that the 30-year-old didn’t want to leave.

Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia will be Milan’s only fit first-team centre-backs available against Napoli on Sunday, but Malick Thiaw is expected to return to action next weekend against Monza on February 18. The Rossoneri had a day off today, but many players still showed up at Milanello to work at the club’s training centre.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Walter Mazzarri could return to a three-man defence against the Diavoli at San Siro on Sunday night.
