Sensi gives green light to Leicester City transfer as Inter wait for official bid

Multiple sources in Italy claim Stefano Sensi is open to joining Enzo Maresca’s Leicester City with Inter ready to part ways with the Italian midfielder for €2m.

Sensi is on the verge of joining Leicester City in the January transfer window and has already agreed to join Maresca at the club, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport and TMW.

The Italian midfielder’s contract expires in June 2024, so Inter are reportedly ready to sell him for €2m this month.

According to Gazzetta, Maresca has already spoken to his compatriot, persuading him to join the English Championship leaders.

Inter are ready to part company with Sensi and are waiting for an official, final bid from Leicester, which they expect to be in the region of €2m.

Sensi has only made four appearances across all competitions with Inter so far this season, collecting 65 minutes on the pitch as a substitute.

He spent last season on loan at Monza, scoring three goals in 28 Serie A appearances.
