Sculli to return to Lazio

Genoa’s new sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco has confirmed that the club will not be signing Giuseppe Sculli on a permanent deal.

Sculli returned to the Marassi outfit last January on loan after just 12 months playing for capital outfit Lazio.

However, despite being a fan favourite, the player will be forced to look for a new home for 2012-13 after Lo Monaco took one of his first actions as the Grifone’s new ds to pass up on the option to sign the player outright to the club again.

“At the expiry of his loan, Sculli will return to Lazio,” Lo Monaco briefly confirmed without taking further questions.
