Sassuolo’s CEO Giovanni Carnevali has warned Genoa: ‘Scamacca will return here at the end of the season.’
The 21-year-old joined the Grifone on a dry loan deal in the summer and has scored six goals in seven games in all competitions so far this season.
“[Gianluca] Scamacca belongs to us and we decided to loan him out because he can be a protagonist with our team next season,” Carnevali told Sky Sport.
“We need to work without revolutions, gambling on young players.

The product of Lazio and Roma academies is also being linked with a move to Milan, but he will surely return to Sassuolo at the end of the current campaign.
