The 61-year-old is still under contract for another two years, so because he was sacked, Juventus have to keep paying his salary.

Juve are eager not to end up making the same mistake and are pushing to terminate weighty contracts by mutual consent.
However, La Stampa claim Sarri is unimpressed with the proposal and won’t accept a termination without a considerable extra payment.
He is under contract until June 2022 with a salary of €5.5m per year net, plus performance-related bonuses.
It is the same problem they are running into with players Gonzalo Higuain and Sami Khedira, who have no intention of losing their promised wages.
