The President of Brazilian outfit Sao Paulo has confirmed that they will net Napoli flop Eduardo Vargas by Friday.
“We’ll define his signing this week,” Juvenal Juvencio told Radio Bandeirantes.
“The deal is basically done seeing as we are in agreement over the financial side of things and all the parties are happy.
“We are confident that the player will do well for us.”
Napoli signed the Chilean international in January 2012 from Universidad de Chile at a cost of around €10m.
However, the 23-year-old has struggled in Naples seeing as he has failed to score in 19 top-flight Italian games.
His only goals, all three of them, came in this season’s Europa League win against AIK.
Vargas is expected to move back to South America on loan.
