“I’m really happy in Newcastle,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport. “I like the city, the club and the atmosphere.
“I’m also engaged to Chloe and we’re expecting a baby in May. I live like a king in Newcastle and I have a contract until 2016.
“A return to Italy? I’ve heard of the interest from Milan in me and that is really pleasing,” added the former Inter player.
“I’m not sure what would happen if another Italian club came in for me, but I’d seriously think about packing my bags for Milan.”
Santon, 22, joined Newcastle from Inter in the summer of 2011 for a fee in the region of £5m.
“I owe Inter a lot,” added the full-back. “I was happy there, but it is not my fault that I was born as a Milan fan…”
It’s understood that Milan made an enquiry for Santon during the January transfer window.
