Davide Santon warns Inter that Celtic fans provide an atmosphere “similar to the Premier League.”
The full-back is on loan with option to buy from Newcastle United and expected to start Thursday’s Europa League tie in Glasgow.
“This will be a very important match for us and for our whole season,” Santon told Inter Channel.
“We want to win in order to go all the way in this tournament. Celtic are a good side and it won’t be easy to get a positive result.

“We want to win in order to go all the way in this tournament. Celtic are a good side and it won’t be easy to get a positive result.
“It’ll be difficult to play in a stadium like that, as the fans will sing from start to finish and push their team forward.
“We need to have the right mentality and if we get a good result then we’ll be happy. I’ve never played at Celtic Park, but the atmosphere is very similar to the Premier League.”
Santon has been a regular ever since arriving during the January transfer window.
“I came back after three and a half years in the Premier League, but have now returned to the club where I started aged 14. I’m happy to be at Inter again and will give all for this club.
“This is a transitional period for Inter, as we have many young players, but we’ll get better the more we play together. It takes time to create a strong future.”
