The Coach and his players travel to the San Paolo for the midweek knockout fixture already having taken the club to its furthest point ever in the competition, but Sannino has hinted that they will target reaching the final.
“Tomorrow night we’re going to Napoli with the desire to do well in front of a large audience,” the tactician told fedelissimoonline.it.
“We will try to make it difficult for a great opponent who has many champions that are looking to bounce back from the Champions League exit with this possibility of re-qualifying for Europe without waiting until the end of the season.
“We have a small advantage.”
Which is the 2-1 aggregate lead from the first leg in Tuscany. The Robur also take confidence from having not lost in the teams' League encounter in January.
“We should not be presumptuous, while aware that on two occasions, with great sacrifice and humility, we managed to stop Napoli playing.
“In the League they have so many more points than us, but we want to honour the Coppa Italia in the best way possible.
“Sometimes the mouse can tickle the elephant. It will be tough, but we’ll try – any result will be out of a fairy tale ending, but our goal is to continue to dream.”
