He met with the Granata this week and, according to Tuttosport, had a special eye on left-sided midfielder Sanchez Miño.
The 24-year-old has not played for Argentina at senior level, so could technically still switch his allegiance to Italy.
He already holds an Italian passport and arrived from Boca Juniors last month for €3.2m.
