Sampdoria have confirmed that Stefano Okaka was sent home from training today after behaving ‘inappropriately’ toward Sinisa Mihajlovic.
It was reported this morning that the 25-year-old had left training early after a bust-up with Coach Mihajlovic and sporting director Carlo Osti.
Okaka posted a cryptic message on his Facebook page promising that ‘the truth will come out’, and now the club has released a statement of their own.

“During this morning’s training at Gloriano Mugnaini, Stefano Okaka was dismissed for inappropriate behaviour toward the Coach,” the Blucerchiati said in a statement on their official website.
“The club will consider whether to take disciplinary action in light of the attitude subsequently taken by the same Okaka toward the sporting director.”
