Sampdoria will look to sign Vasco Regini at the end of the season, Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi has stated.
The 22-year-old is a highly-rated youngster who is presently co-owned between both of the clubs.
“Regini is a right-back who can also be fielded in the middle,” Corsi told calciomercato.com. “Half of his contract belongs to us, half to Sampdoria.
“We’ve understood that Doria want to take him back to Genoa for next season, also because he recently broke into the Italian Under-21 side.”
Regini, formerly of Cesena and Foggia, has been linked with Fiorentina.
