Samp defender Colley cleared of coronavirus

The number of Serie A players testing positive for coronavirus has dropped from 11 to 10, as Sampdoria defender Omar Colley reveals his first test was inconclusive.

Samp have been hardest hit so far, as Manolo Gabbiadini, Colley, Albin Ekdal, Antonino La Gumina, Morten Thorsby, Fabio Depaoli and Bartosz Bereszynski were named as players who caught the illness.

However, this evening Colley announced via an Instagram video that his initial test had been ‘doubtful’ on Friday March 12.

After more tests, he and his family have now been cleared.
