Giuseppe Rossi thanked Levante for “giving me the chance to play” after his loan move from Fiorentina.
The Italy international was increasingly frustrated at the lack of regular playing time as he tried to complete his full recovery from a series of devastating knee injuries.
“I am very happy to be here at Levante and want to help the team stay in La Liga,” Rossi told reporters at the airport.
“I want to give my contribution here. I am really eager to play, because in recent months I haven’t had many opportunities.

“Football is always football, whether it’s in Italy or Spain, it’s the same sport. I’m ready to play in an hour! I’ve been waiting so long and I’d be very happy to play on Monday against Las Palmas.”
Rossi was born in America, while he played his club football at Manchester United, Villarreal, Parma and Fiorentina.
