Argentine defender Facundo Roncaglia has cooled reports that he has already agreed to join Fiorentina.
Stories on Monday suggested that the 25-year-old had already sorted out a three-year contract with the Tuscan outfit.
However, Roncaglia has underlined that he is still assessing his options with regard to where he will be playing his football next season.
“It’s not true that I have signed,” Roncaglia noted. “My agent is in Italy at the moment negotiating and he told me to stay calm without paying attention to what is being reported.
“If it was up to me then I would remain with Boca Juniors, but I also have to evaluate the economical aspect of my career.”
The Corriere dello Sport claimed that he would join Fiorentina on a free transfer, signing a three-year deal worth €500,000 a season in the process.
The right-back has had spells on loan at Espanyol and Estudiantes in recent years.
