Cristian Romero is reportedly flying to London today to complete the second part of his medicals with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Argentinean is on the verge of completing a €55m move to North London.
According to Sky Sport Italia reporter Fabrizio Romano, Romero has already undergone the first part of his medicals in Italy and will complete his checks in London today.
Romero is expected to arrive in the English capital this evening to end the second part of his medical examinations and sign his contract with Spurs.
Atalanta have already reached an agreement with Juventus over the sale of Merih Demiral, who will move to the Gewiss Stadium on loan with an option to buy for circa €30m to replace Romero.
The Argentinean defender is the second summer signing for Spurs after Pierluigi Gollini, who also moved to North London from Atalanta on an initial loan deal plus an option to buy for €18m.
Romero was named best Serie A defender in 2020-21 in his first season with La Dea.
