Roma vs. Juventus: Allegri holds Serie A record against Mourinho

Massimiliano Allegri is the most winning coach against José Mourinho in Serie A with three victories in seven meetings.

The two coaches meet at the Stadio Olimpico in Roma-Juventus on Sunday tonight.

Roma are in the race for a top-four finish, while Juventus are climbing the table following a 15-point deduction and currently occupy a Conference League spot.

As highlighted by Eurosport, Allegri has won three Serie A games from seven against the Special One, collecting two draws and as many defeats. No coach in Italy’s top flight has won more games against the Portuguese coach.

On the other hand, Mourinho’s record against Juventus is less impressive given that the Special One has only won two Serie A games against the Bianconeri, the team he has beaten the fewest times in Serie A alongside Napoli, considering teams he’s faced at least five times.

Mourinho was given a two-match ban after seeing red against Cremonese last week, but the punishment has been put on hold with FIGC investigating the incident involving him and fourth official Marco Serra at the Stadio Zini on Tuesday.

This means the former Inter coach will be on the touchline at the Stadio Olimpico tonight.
