Roma target Genoa pair

Roma are reportedly in talks with Genoa for both Iago Falque and Andrea Bertolacci.

When it comes to Bertolacci, the midfielder grew up in the Giallorossi youth academy and is co-owned between the two clubs.

However, he is also of interest to Milan and Fiorentina.

As for Iago Falque, the Spanish striker would be a new addition to Rudi Garcia’s squad.

The 25-year-old had lost his way in recent years, but rediscovered his form at Genoa after a €2m transfer from Tottenham.

The 25-year-old had lost his way in recent years, but rediscovered his form at Genoa after a €2m transfer from Tottenham.

He scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 32 Serie A games this season, helping his side to sixth place.

La Gazzetta dello Sport maintains Falque is on the verge of a transfer to Roma, where he’d replace Al Jazira-bound Gervinho.
