According to this evening’s reports, Roma director of sport Monchi and Ricky Massara met with agents Pavel Paska and Bruno Satin today in Milan for over an hour.
They enquired as to the situation with Schick, who has a release clause worth €25m, but Samp want to keep him on for another year to help him reach full maturity.
It seemed to be an initial approach to discuss options, but Juventus remain the hot favourites to sign Schick, especially as they would be happy to leave him on loan at Marassi until 2018.
Inter had initially been in the lead for his signature, but Juve surged forward, while there is also interest from Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.
Roma had been very close to Schick last summer, but in the end he opted for Sampdoria because they guaranteed more regular playing time.
