After Sunday night's Coppa Italia final loss to Lazio, Roma are keen to step up the chase for a new Coach, reports have suggested.

Tuttosport believe that the hierarchy at the Giallorossi want to appoint a new man at the helm this week, with Massimiliano Allegri their number one candidate.

However, the capital club's rush to appoint a new boss could be scuppered by Milan, who have drafted talks with their Coach for Thursday.

The Turin-based newspaper believe that Allegri will meet with Silvio Berlsuconi and Adriano Galliani later this week, during which they will discuss his future at the Rossoneri.

Rumours have circulated that Clarence Seedorf could take over at San Siro, but the Italian tactician could stay on at the club, meaning a straight choice between Milan and Roma for next season.
