Shaqiri is expected to leave Bayern Munich, as he has found playing time hard to come by.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Roma have begin negotiations with the German giants to sign Shaqiri.

The evaluation is believed to be €20m and the Giallorossi have spending money, as they are guaranteed a spot in the Champions League group phase.

They also boosted coffers by selling Dodo to Inter for €9m, although the formula of the move means the majority of the money won’t arrive for another two years.

In recent days Roma have already officially signed Ashley Cole on a free transfer, Salih Ucan on loan from Fenerbahce and are on the verge of taking Urby Emanuelson from Milan.
