The winger spoke to Uruguayan site Embajadores del Gol about reports he will fly in on Monday to discuss personal terms.

“I am relaxed and await this possible sale,” said El Cebolla.

“I didn’t want to leave, as I identify with this club and always want to challenge for my place, but unfortunately I haven’t been given that chance. I have not been a starter for months now. Therefore my plan is to leave.

“Parma? I am dealing with it personally. I don’t know if Parma have spoken to Atletico, but I received an offer via an agent and I intend to get a change of scenery.

“The Parma President and Coach want me. I want to play.”
