Rodriguez ‘didn’t know Parma trouble’

Cristian Rodriguez admits he had no idea there was a financial crisis at Parma when he joined from Atletico Madrid.

The Ducali’s game against Udinese on Sunday has been postponed indefinitely after the city council revealed the club didn’t have enough money to pay stewards at the Stadio Tardini.

“They had told me I’d be happy in Parma. However, I did not know that the players hadn’t been paid for six months,” El Cebolla told Sport 890.
