River Plate President Rodolfo D’Onforio has admitted that the club could be tempted into selling Manuel Lanzini.

The 21-year-old attacker has become one of the most talked-about players in South America this season after a series of impressive performances.

And the Buenos Aires-based club’s chief has conceded that after rumours of a bid from Lazio, they could be forced to sell the youngster for the right price.

“We still haven’t received anything from Lazio and nor from any other team,” D’Onofrio told gathering reporters in Argentina.

“We only heard what is being said in the Press.

“Of course, we are going to analyse an offer if it comes in. However, we are also going to listen to what the player wants to do.”
