Report: Inter go for Nice defender

Inter are reportedly in talks to sign Malang Sarr on a free transfer, offering the Nice defender a four-year contract.

With Diego Godin failing to convince since his Bosman move from Atletico Madrid last summer, Tuttosport claims Inter are targeting Sarr.

The 21-year-old, a full France Under-21 international who is also capable of filling in on the left, has made 20 appearances for Nice this season.

With Diego Godin failing to convince since his Bosman move from Atletico Madrid last summer, Tuttosport claims Inter are targeting Sarr.

The 21-year-old, a full France Under-21 international who is also capable of filling in on the left, has made 20 appearances for Nice this season.

However, his contract expires on June 30 and the newspaper states sporting director Piero Ausilio is currently negotiating with his agent Federico Pastorello.

The pair have a strong rapport, with two of Pastorello’s clients – Romelu Lukaku and Antonio Candreva – already playing for the Nerazzurri.

Such would be the progress made by the Beneamata that a four-year deal is said to be on the table for the stopper.
