Report: Esposito talks have stalled

Inter's talks of a renewal with Sebastiano Esposito have stalled, as the youngster asks for €800,000 a year until June 2025.

The 17-year-old forward, who has scored once in 11 matches for Inter so far, has according to Tuttomercatoweb asked for a similar deal to Andrea Pinamonti at San Siro.

Genoa are obliged with conditions to sign the 21-year-old Inter loanee Pinamonti and Esposito’s representatives have, according to the report, requested a bumper new deal to take his place in the Nerazzurri’s wage books.

TMW claims Inter are working on a deal to expire in June 2025 for Esposito, who is currently contracted until 2022.

The club would like to avoid paying €800,000 a year by adding achievement bonuses in the deal to cap his general wage.
