“A very important week awaits us, because the next three games could be decisive for our campaign,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“That starts from the meeting with Roma. We need 90 minutes of great concentration and intensity. This stadium is back to being our fortress and we want it to stay that way.

“In January Roma brought in players who proved to be extremely important, such as Stephan El Shaarawy and Diego Perotti, while Luciano Spalletti is the extra man.

“We must do well to contrast their moves and go on the counter. It is the only way to face this Roma side.”

Atalanta go into the match without Luca Cigarini, Alessandro Diamanti and Marten De Roon.

“We have some alternative solutions and whoever steps on to the field will give his contribution to the team.”

Atalanta squad for Roma: Bellini, Borriello, Brivio, Cherubin, Conti, D’Alessandro, Djimsiti, Drame, Freuler, Gagliardini, Gakpe, Gomez, Kurtic, Masiello, Migliaccio, Monachello, Paletta, Pinilla, Radunovic, Raimondi, Sportiello, Stendardo, Toloi, Turrin
