According to several reports, Reina is set to fly in for today’s Serie A match between Napoli and Roma.
There will be no Roma fans in attendance and the kick-off is unusually early, as this is considered a very high-risk game.
That is because of violent clashes between supporters ahead of the Coppa Italia Final Napoli-Fiorentina, which was played at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome back in May.
Once incident had a tragic conclusion, as a Roma supporter shot and killed Napoli fan Ciro Esposito several miles away from the stadium.
The Roma fan claims he was attacked by a large group and fired in self-defence, but a police investigation is on-going.
