The Hungarian side host the Old Lady at the Puskas Arena tomorrow and Rebrov thinks his men are ‘ready’ and look forward to the game against the Italian champions.
“We know we must play against one of the best teams in Italy, we can’t wait,” Rebrov said at a press conference.
“We want to give 100 per cent. It’s an honour for us to represent Hungary at the top of European football and in the Champions League, I think we’re ready for this challenge.”
Ferencvaros followed up a 5-1 defeat to Barcelona with a 2-2 draw with Dynamo Kiev in Budapest and look set to fight for a place in the Europa League with Rebrov’s former club.
“In the Champions League, you get the opportunity to play against strong teams, the best in Europe. As happened to us, with Barcelona, Dynamo Kiev and Juventus [in the group].
“We always prepare ourselves in the best way for every opponent. Juve have fantastic players, we must take advantage of the opportunities that we will get in the game.”
Rebrov said he wants to face Portuguese talisman Ronaldo, who returned from coronavirus with a brace against Spezia last weekend.
“To begin with, I hope he starts,” Rebrov said. “Then, we know his qualities and we will try to stop him. We need to be fully concentrated.
“As I said, we are playing against the best teams in Europe. Clubs that have talented players with fantastic qualities.
“Every match in the Champions League is a reward for us. We are here to learn.”
