Andrea Ranocchia has reiterated his intention to see out the rest of the season at Genoa even amid mounting interest from Inter.
The Italy international centre-back is co-owned by Inter and initially looked likely to head to San Siro in June after the completion of another year of development.
However, Inter's recent injury problems at centre-back have prompted the club's directors to hurry up the move with Marco Branca inquiring about the prospect of signing Ranocchia outright when the transfer window opens again in January.

Asked for his response to the speculation, Ranocchia said: "I am staying at Genoa. I am only thinking about the derby against Sampdoria. I am not leaving in January.
"Inter can win the Scudetto if their injured players return."
