Andrea Ranocchia could hold talks about his future at Inter with club officials as soon as Tuesday afternoon.

The defender joined the Nerazzurri in January 2011 in a deal which totalled about €18m, but he had a problematic 2011-12.

The centre-back was only used in 12 League games and subsequently missed out on a place in Italy’s Euro 2012 squad.

Torino are keen on landing the player on loan, but there is the possibility that the Beneamata could sell for a fee between €18m and €20m.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Arezzo, Bari and Genoa man is of interest to Manchester City, Napoli, Zenit St Petersburg and Paris Saint-Germain.

Ranocchia will fly back to Italy today after a brief holiday abroad.
