Ranocchia isn’t thinking about Inter

Playing for Inter either in January or in June hasn't crossed the mind of Genoa centre-back Andrea Ranocchia.

Inter co-own a stake in the 22-year-old Italy international and had planned to complete a permanent transfer of his services at the end of this season.

However, the treble winners have looked on helplessly as a number of injuries have seriously depleted their back line, making reinforcements imperative when the market opens again.

Gradually over recent weeks, the speculation has been mounting that Inter will try and lure Ranocchia to San Siro at an earlier date than originally intended, but the player's head isn't swayed.

"For now I am nothing about a future at Inter," he said.

"I have repeated it for some time that my concentration is dedicated uniquely to Genoa."
