The striker was one of a notable quartet of Argentine veterans to depart the Nerazzurri at the end of last season and was immediately linked with a return to Racing, where he began his senior career 15 years ago.
On from earlier reports, the Gazzetta dello Sport are running the line that the 35-year-old has completed formalities on a return to the Argentine Primera Division side and will be officially presented to the media later today.
Milito, who scored goals to seal Inter’s Cup, League and European Cup wins of 2009-10, is believed to have signed an 18-month deal with Racing.
