PSG on verge of signing Napoli star Fabian Ruiz

Napoli are reportedly working on selling Fabian Ruiz to Paris Saint-Germain and things are moving forward quickly.

The 26-year-old Spanish midfielder’s current contract expires with the Partenopei next year and he’s repeatedly refused to put pen to paper on a new deal, leaving the Campania side in a difficult spot. Recent reports suggested that Real Madrid were waiting to snap him up on a free transfer next summer, but they be beaten to the punch by PSG.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, PSG are ready to pay Napoli around €25m including add-ons for Fabian Ruiz and they’re keen to get a deal across the line soon.

The Spaniard did not feature in yesterday’s pre-season friendly against Espanyol and a move to Paris is seemingly fast approaching, with the two parties now hard at work defining the details of the deal.

Last season, Ruiz scored seven goals and provided four assists in 32 Serie A appearances.
