Genoa President Enrico Preziosi gave an update on Andreas Granqvist, Marco Borriello, Alexandros Tzorvas, Alessio Cerci and Juan Manuel Vargas.
“For now Granqvist is staying with us,” said Preziosi of the defender who confirmed he’d like a move to Lazio.
“In order to leave, something advantageous would have to happen for the club…
“Steve Von Bergen and Tzorvas? I think the exchange will go through pretty soon.”
Palermo goalkeeper Tzorvas only made 11 Serie A appearances last season after making the move from Panathinaikos.
The Genoa President also told Sky Sport Italia about his interest in two Fiorentina outcasts.
“I really like Cerci a lot. In the meanwhile, we are negotiating for Giorgi Chanturia. Juan Vargas? I’d sign him.”
The summer has been full of reports that Borriello will return to Genoa after failing to settle at Juventus or parent club Roma.
“I am very fond of Marco, but I cannot operate only on emotion.”
