Fiorentina’s Director of Sport Daniele Pradé has denied La Viola will try to sign Krzysztof Piatek or Arkadiusz Milik in the January transfer window.
Fiorentina are being linked with a number of strikers but Pradé claimed they are not going to sign any of them two in January.
“We tried to do it in July, but now we are not considering them,” he told Sky Sport before Fiorentina-Hellas Verona.
“We have built a deep team because there are five substitutions this season and that could have been a determining weapon for us. So far they haven’t been, but I say that an executive always works carefully, then there are also external situations. We entered a phase of negativity and [Cesare] Prandelli must be good at working on that.”
“We are living a particular situation, we are missing our fans, their relationship with them is always good for us, whether they praise or criticise us."
Earlier this week, Pradé had claimed Hellas’s players should be judged once they move to another team. “[Matteo] Lovato is a strong player,” he had told RTV 38.
“But, just like any player of [Ivan] Juric, he should be judged over the next few seasons, in other club.”
Juric had hit back by asking Pradé to apologise.
“Misunderstandings can happen, there is no need to apologize also because I have already heard my friend [Tony] D'Amico in Verona,” Pradé said.
“I respect Juric, and I have to say, he was smart because he re-energised the game. We work with them and I wish them all the best, but today they leave us the three points".
