Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has revealed a ‘particular protocol’ for those affected by coronavirus after resuming group training.
The Viola were hit hard by the pandemic and the sporting director, who himself went through a harrowing experience with COVID-19, has revealed that Kevin Agudelo and Lorenzo Venuti will not be able to train in a group until next week.
“Thos who have been affected by COVID-19 have a particular protocol,” Prade told TGR Rai Toscana, according to Tuttomercatoweb. “They have to do a week of personalised work.
“We started with Agudelo and Venuti, from next week they will be in a group.”
He has also given positive updates regarding Franck Ribery, who has returned from injury during the forced break.
“Franck is at a very high level, both mentally and physically. He is the one who wants to resume more than the others.
“But I have to be honest, I found a very responsible group. The players’ mood depend on how we, us leaders, handle them.”
