Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo hailed Watford, but confessed he’d let Antonio Di Natale go “if he asked.”
The club owner commented on the official Udinese Twitter account after a 2-1 victory over Milan.
“It was a game we played well, with character, and that is why we are so disappointed when we don’t give that kind of performance.”

Di Natale was instrumental in the success, but his agent said this week it was very unlikely he’d stay at the Stadio Friuli next season.
“Di Natale is under contract with us for one more year. If he asked me to go, then I couldn’t keep him against his will. I would do him that favour.”
It’s believed the veteran striker is targeting a move to America’s MLS.
Meanwhile, Pozzo had another reason to celebrate today, as satellite club Watford earned automatic promotion into the English Premier League.
“It is a project we’ve been working on for years. This is another brick we place in the wall of our success stories.”
The Pozzo family now own three clubs in three top flights – Udinese in Italy, Watford in England and Granada in Spain.
