Andrea Pirlo dedicated the Juventus victory to Fabrice Muamba, the Bolton player who collapsed today. “We’re all praying for him.”

Muamba collapsed with cardiac problems during the Tottenham-Bolton FA Cup match and is still in intensive care.

“We dedicate the victory to Muamba, as he is our colleague and we are all praying for him,” said Pirlo after a 5-0 win at Fiorentina.

The triumph came after Alessio Cerci got himself dismissed for an off the ball foul on Paolo De Ceglie just 21 minutes into the match.

“We had already started well and were in the lead, but yes the red card was an advantage. As for the Scudetto, Milan are the favourites and we’ll try to hang in there.”

Earlier this evening the Rossoneri won 2-0 at Parma, so the gap at the top of the table remains four points.
