In-demand Bologna tactician Stefano Pioli has signed a new contract with the Stadio Dall’Ara outfit.
The 47-year-old has today put pen to paper on a 12-month extension which sees him tied to the side until June 2015.
“I am very satisfied, I have always maintained that I’m happy at Bologna,” stated the former Chievo Verona and Palermo tactician.
“I’m appreciated by the club and the fans who have always stayed close to me during the difficult moments.
“I feel like I’m from Bologna and I have never experienced the feelings that I do here – not even when I was a player.
“I have no other thoughts apart from to end the season well here and start to work on the next campaign.”
Pioli has been linked with a possible switch to Napoli at the end of term should Walter Mazzarri decide to move on.
He joined the Rossoblu in October 2011 after the club opted to sack Pierpaolo Bisoli.
