Bologna boss Stefano Pioli has reiterated his commitment to the club despite rumours that he could become the new Napoli Coach.
Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis has openly commended the 47-year-old and hinted that he may succeed Walter Mazzarri at Stadio San Paolo.
But the former Palermo man has claimed that he sees his long-term future at the Rossoblu.
“I want to make this clear,” he told Corriere dello Sport. “I came to Bologna because I could see myself being here for a long time.
“It is a great place to work and I have a great relationship with the owners.
“I am focused purely on the present, so I will not focus on the future. I do not have to look beyond the next five months.
“My work here is too important and absorbs me completely.
“Of course I am grateful that my work is being appreciated elsewhere – that is just part of the job.
“I know how this game works, but I will say it again – I am thinking only of Bologna.”
