The player has actually spent the previous fortnight training with Pescara, ahead of the move, and even took part in their pre-season friendly yesterday.
The Delfini confirmed his move via a note on their official site and will present the player to the Press tomorrow.
Elsewhere, the club are believed to be close to securing experienced centre-back Natali on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old is a free agent this summer having left Fiorentina after three seasons and is reportedly near to signing a two-year deal with the southern club, at a €500,000-a-year salary.
