Reports of Stroppa’s surprise meeting with the newly-promoted team’s owner in Milan broke on Thursday afternoon, with the initial belief that the club had decided to hire the former Foggia and Milan player [pictured].
However, Sebastiani has denied that a decision has been taken just yet, revealing that Italy Under-21 Coach Ciro Ferrara is also still in the running.
“He made a good impression, I will take a decision by tomorrow. Ferrara and Stroppa at this time are equal,” confirmed the owner, before adding that he will be meeting a third, unconfirmed Coach this evening.
Pescara are looking for a new tactician for next season after Zdenek Zeman departed to make a return to Roma.
