Should the Grifoni keep him at Marassi then there is the possibility that he could be used as a reserve to Sebastien Frey.
“Genoa still have to name their Coach for next season so there is plenty of time,” Matteo Roggi told Calcio News 24.
“But after playing a season in Serie B and then Serie A, Matteo can’t then be asked to just sit down. However, all of this will be decided in agreement with Genoa.”
The custodian, widely seen as a star of the future, appeared in 29 games for Pescara in the past campaign.
