And the 23-year-old has admitted that the support of the fans helped him choose the Timao over other options.
“I decided to come back because I felt the warmth of the Corinthians fans,” he told Globo Esporte.
“That was what helped me choose. It is a new adventure and I want to give my best for the fans.
“I have a four-year contract and I'm incredibly happy – I've been welcomed with open arms.”
The former Internacional man concluded by remarking on his relationship with Rossoneri chief Silvio Berlusconi.
“He was a very important person in my career and has always been nice. But for now, I am thinking only of Corinthians.”
