“Gervinho is a Parma player and we’d like to keep him to the end of his contact, which is not in 2021 as I saw reported, but in 2022,” Parma director of sport Faggiano told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“If Benevento want him, they’ll have to ask us and see if Gervinho wants to go there as well.”
The 33-year-old Ivorian has scored nine goals with four assists in 29 competitive games for Parma this season, between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
