Parma activate Cyprien option

Parma have reportedly activated their option to buy Wylan Cyprien from OGC Nice for €7.5m after his appearance against Bologna.

The midfielder was on loan with an option to buy that would become an obligation if certain conditions were met.

According to Parmalive.com, the conditions were that he play even a single minute of football for the Ducali in February.

Cyprien came off the bench in this evening’s 3-0 defeat to Bologna at the Stadio Tardini.

Therefore, Parma now owe Nice the full €7.5m purchase fee.

The 26-year-old has made 12 Serie A appearances in the Parma jersey, plus two in the Coppa Italia, for a total 503 minutes of football.
