And the striker has insisted it is an ‘honour’ to play for the San Siro outfit and wants to impress from the off.
“It's an honour for me to join a club like Inter,” he told reporters this afternoon.
“I'm really happy and I can't wait to get started.
“I'm determined to get back playing as I know I can. I want to prove myself in this shirt.
“Targets? To work hard and show what I can do. There's no point talking before the League kicks off. I'll just be satisfied if the team is able to reach its targets.
“This is a chance for me. If I perform well this season I could stay at Inter for many years.”
The goalscorer then commented on some of his new teammates and revealed one of the reasons why he chose Inter.
“I think Medel is an excellent player who is both skilful and powerful. Icardi? He’s fantastic. I’m sure we can adapt our games to play with each other.
“I will speak with the Coach in the next few days. But it is great to play for a man who has always wanted me.”
