Ongoing meeting between Torino and Crotone for Messias

According to multiple reports in Italy, there is an ongoing meeting between Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati and Crotone for Junior Messias.

The Brazilian striker is a transfer target for many Serie A clubs, including Milan.

Crotone are willing to sell the player, but only on a permanent deal and want at least €10m.

Milan met Crotone directors yesterday, while a summit between Torino and Crotone representatives is currently ongoing in Milan.

According to Calciomercato.com and Sky Sport Italia, Torino hope to lower Crotone’s economic demands for their striker.

Messias played his first-ever Serie A campaign last term, scoring nine goals in 36 appearances. He is one of Milan’s targets to replace Hakan Calhanoglu, who has joined Inter on a free transfer.

On Wednesday, Crotone sporting director Giuseppe Ursino claimed that there are three or four Serie A clubs interested in Messias, including Milan.

He confirmed that the player would only leave the Serie B side on a permanent deal.
