Olympique Marseille have started to consider a move for Charles De Ketelaere, who could leave Milan after just one year.
The Rossoneri are open to cutting their losses on the 22-year-old Belgian forward after his unconvincing debut season, where he managed just one assist across 40 total appearances, seeing 1480 minutes of action.
A number of clubs have started keeping tabs on De Ketelaere, including Aston Villa and PSV, but none have submitted a concrete offer yet.
Page nine of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Marseille have now decided to enter the running for De Ketelaere and are considering making a move for him this summer.
Milan are not willing to make a capital loss on the 22-year-old, so they won’t accept anything less than €28m. They would prefer a definitive transfer over a loan deal, although an obligation to buy clause could change things.
The Rossoneri have been incredibly active in summer transfer window, selling Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United and picking up seven players – Christian Pulisic, Luka Romero, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Marco Sportiello, Tijjani Reijnders, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze. Yunus Musah will likely become their eighth signing of the summer.
